Kids Art Club
Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery
The Kids Art Club focuses on supporting children’s natural impulses to immerse themselves in a creative process.
The children will be introduced to different techniques and materials and to drawing, painting, simple graphic processes and three dimensional work.
Together with the 5 -12 year olds we approach art through play, imagination and the senses. The small groups allow for individual support and age directed work.
"The focus is on children's perspectives as this acts as an indicator for us and our community on how the world impacts on them. The opportunity to learn to express themselves through art gives them a visual vocabulary that can develop as they grow up. This contributes to a rich community for us and an "ART ticulate" youth.

SCHOOL TERM 4 2015
starts Saturday 10th October 10.30 - 12.00
following Saturdays 17/10, 24/10, 31/10, 14/11, 21/11, 28/11
We will be drawing and using our sharp eyes to see precisely what things look like. We will draw with all sorts of pens, pencils, textas, crayons etc, so bring your favourite drawing material with you too. We will put it all together to make small tales and stories and collages along the way.
Cost $112 upfront for 7 sessions or pay as you go $18 per session including all materials.

CRAZY CHARACTERS AND BEASTS
Inviting all sorts of creatures great and small, crazy and tall. Come and build the wildest monster, dragon or a GLOB !
Don't be afraid we will feed them all !
You will build your fantasy creature over 3 mornings with clay, sticks, paper, glue, tape, wire, acrylic paints.
3 mornings: Thursday 9/07, Friday 10/07, Saturday 11/07

April School Holiday Program 2015
Date: Tues 7/04 & Weds 8/04
Time: 10.30 – 12.30, age 5 – 12 years
Cost: $65 both days incl. materials
We will build weird and wonderful things out of clay, cardboard, foam board, paper, textiles, glue, tape, textas, pencils, charcoal and acrylic paints.
School Term 2 Program 2015
Starts 2/05 runs 8 Saturdays until 20/06
People and Portraits
We will look at the Archibald portraits and draw in the exhibition space. We will work with painting and collage to make bigger pictures of people.
Dates: 8 Saturdays from 2/05
Time: 10.30 – 12.00

Create a three dimensional space building with foam board, cardboard, glue, textiles, clay, sticks, paint and recycled materials. Use your imagination, your favourite creatures and animals to make a special space you can play with.
$60 including all materials
